Why I Created This
I'm Krystal, and I know what it's like to move through overlapping seasons that quietly ask more of you than you ever imagined.
​
Like many women, I kept telling myself I just needed to push through.
​
For years, I carried the emotional weight of trying to have a baby. Then came the anxiousness of a surprise high-risk pregnancy. Then the enormous and overwhelming transition into motherhood in my forties. Before long, I was being blindsided by toddler meltdowns while also navigating perimenopause, building a business, and trying so hard to be the kind of parent and partner I wanted to be.
​
Each season brought something different.
​
But the emotional load didn't disappear when one season ended.
​
It simply followed me into the next.
​
What surprised me most was that even with my counselling training, I struggled to put into practice all the things I knew were "good" for me. Meditation. Journalling. Exercise. They were helpful—but when life already felt overwhelming, they often felt like one more thing I couldn't keep up with.
I realised I didn't need more strategies.
​I needed support that was easier to access than my overwhelm.
​
So I created a short audio for myself.
​
Not to fix everything.
Just to help me through one difficult moment.
​
The difference those few minutes made surprised me.
​
I felt steadier.
More connected to myself.
More able to respond rather than react.
​
Over time, I created more.
​
Some to help me prepare before the moments I knew would be hard.
Some to support me in the middle.
Some to help settle my racing mind at night.
Some to help me reset after a hard moment.
Some to help me slow down long enough to really soak in a beautiful one.

Little by little, I noticed something had shifted.
​
Not because life became easier.
But because I wasn't carrying quite so much of one moment into the next.
​
Even more surprising, I noticed my inner voice beginning to change.
​
The same gentle reminders I'd been listening to started showing up when I needed them most—even when the audio wasn't playing.
​
I found myself speaking to myself with more compassion.
Pausing before reacting.
Remembering to come back to myself.
​
And gradually, I was showing up more as the woman, parent and partner I wanted to be.
​
Not perfectly.
But more often.
​
The small moments started adding up.
​
That's when I realised these few minutes were doing more than helping me through difficult moments.
​
They were quietly changing how I moved through my days.
​
When I noticed women I loved holding a lot quietly, I began sharing the audios with them too.
And when I kept hearing back how much those moments were needed, I realised something else.
​
Although our lives looked completely different...
Different seasons.
Different stories.
​
We all shared the same human need.
A moment to pause.
To come back to ourselves.
To feel a little steadier.
To carry a little less into what came next.
